UNA MIRADA ANDALUZA

LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY AND PLURALITY OF LANGUAGES

We understand Spanish as a plural and diverse language, with numerous varieties living, spreading and evolving in different parts of the world. For AkaDele, inclusivity in the classroom is a priority, and that’s why we think that each variety needs to be taught in its own context, avoiding teaching from an alien reality, so as not to fall into clichés. We teach the language that we speak, in the sociocultural context that we inhabit.

In Andalusia, and specifically in Granada, we are surrounded by a culture that we love and admire, a culture that we have decided to share with our Spanish students. For that, sometimes we like to count on the local artists and projects that make up the local scene. We try to teach the language showing you the culture we live, going from the underground to the mainstream and vice versa. Because in some way, both poles makes us up.
